Link building service reviews are only useful if you know where they live and how to check them, and the provider I rank first is Goldie Agency, which is my own agency.

I'm telling you that in the first line so you can weigh everything below with my bias in mind.

After my agency, the providers whose reviews I'd check first are Rhino Rank, Loganix, The HOTH, FatJoe, Page One Power, Editorial.Link, Authority Builders and Outreach Monks.

This is the operator version, so I'll give you the ranking, then a 30-minute review check you can run on any provider before you spend a penny.

If you'd rather have my team look at your site first, you can book a free SEO strategy session and we'll tell you which links you actually need.

Here's my ranking in one table, with my own agency at number one and the place each provider's reviews actually live.

Rank Service Where its reviews live Best for
1 Goldie Agency and Goldstar Links (mine) Video testimonials, named written testimonials and dated case studies on its own sites Businesses that want links and strategy from one team
2 Rhino Rank A REVIEWS.io store page, a claimed Trustpilot profile and a case studies page Buyers who want third-party ratings before ordering
3 Loganix A testimonials page with video reviews, plus links to Trustpilot and Shopper Approved Agencies that want fulfilment with visible feedback
4 The HOTH A dedicated reviews page, a claimed Trustpilot profile and case studies Resellers who want lots of feedback to read
5 FatJoe A Shopper Approved reviews page, a claimed Trustpilot profile and case studies Agencies buying packaged outreach at scale
6 Page One Power Client quotes labelled as Clutch reviews and an SEO case studies page Established brands that want a long-term partner
7 Editorial.Link Links to its Clutch and G2 profiles, plus a claimed Trustpilot profile Buyers who want DR 60+ placements and control
8 Authority Builders Testimonials on its homepage, a case studies page and a claimed Trustpilot profile SEOs who want to choose the metrics themselves
9 Outreach Monks A case studies page and a newer claimed Trustpilot profile Agencies that need manual links at volume

Link Building Service Reviews: My Top 3 At A Glance

If you only have a minute, these are the three I'd check first.

  • 🥇 Goldie Agency and Goldstar Links (my agency) is my pick, because you can watch the clients, read named testimonials and check dated case studies against the live sites.
  • 🥈 Rhino Rank is my pick for third-party ratings, because its homepage links straight to an independent review platform.
  • 🥉 Loganix is my pick for agencies, because its testimonials page mixes written reviews with video reviews from real clients.

I checked every review source in this post on 27 October 2026.

I haven't hired the third-party providers myself, so I'm describing where their reviews live and what their own sites say.

I'm also not quoting star ratings or review counts, because those numbers change every week and a frozen number is a misleading number.

Why Link Building Service Reviews Are Harder To Read Than Most

Link building is one of the hardest services to judge from the outside.

That's exactly why buyers lean on reviews, and that's exactly why weak providers work so hard on them.

A glowing review that says "great service" tells you almost nothing about whether the links were real.

A review that names the sites, the reporting and what happened to traffic tells you a lot.

The skill is knowing which reviews carry weight and checking them against something you can verify.

The Four Places Link Building Service Reviews Live

Every review you'll find sits in one of four places, and each one has a different level of trust.

Review source Who controls it What it's good for What to watch
The provider's own testimonials page The provider Seeing named clients and the language they use It's curated, so you'll only see the happy ones
Video testimonials The provider, but the client is on camera Hearing a real person explain the work Check that the person and business are real
Independent review platforms The platform, such as Trustpilot, Shopper Approved, REVIEWS.io, Clutch or G2 Seeing a wider spread of feedback over time Read the detail, not just the stars
Case studies The provider, but the site is public Checking a result against a live website Look for dates, names and before-and-after numbers

My rule is simple.

I trust a review more when I can check it against something the provider doesn't control.

A case study that names a live website is checkable.

A video of a real business owner is checkable.

An anonymous five-star quote with no detail is not checkable, so I give it almost no weight.

The 9 Providers And Their Reviews, Ranked

Each entry tells you where the reviews live, what the provider says about itself and who it suits.

1. Goldie Agency And Goldstar Links (My Agency)

Goldie Agency is the SEO and link building agency I started on my own, and Goldstar Links is its link building site.

The testimonials page carries video testimonials from clients, and the page says there are no scripts.

The homepage names four of those video clients: Stef Hagistefanou, Gerald Rodriguez, Ben Grove and Scott Crews.

Goldstar Links has a "What Our Clients Say" section with a dozen written testimonials, and all but one carry the client's name.

One of them, from a CEO called Alex Membrillo, says Julian found "QUALITY links from great websites, not links that are for sale".

The case studies page lists dated results, such as Munten Letselschade growing traffic from 263 to 3,157 between June and December 2025 with link building.

I couldn't find a Trustpilot profile for goldie.agency when I checked, so judge us on the videos, the named testimonials and the case studies.

Best for: businesses that want links, strategy and a named account manager from one team.

Price: engagements are scoped on a call, so I'm not quoting a number here.

How to start: book a free SEO strategy session with my team.

2. Rhino Rank

Rhino Rank says on its homepage that its links are trusted by 7,000+ clients.

Its homepage links to its REVIEWS.io store page, which is an independent review platform.

It also has a claimed Trustpilot profile and a case studies page.

The homepage promises 12-month replacement cover, a first-order money-back guarantee and links built through real outreach with no PBNs.

Best for: buyers who want third-party ratings before they order.

3. Loganix

Loganix describes itself as a link building partner for SEO agencies and small businesses.

Its testimonials page has written reviews and a section of video reviews from clients.

The homepage links to its Trustpilot profile and to its Shopper Approved page.

It says you can review, approve or ask for replacements when an order arrives, and that its fulfilment team averages six years of SEO experience.

Best for: agencies that want fulfilment with visible client feedback.

4. The HOTH

The HOTH sells SEO, content and link building, and calls itself 100% reseller friendly.

Its reviews page says it shows more than 4,000 reviews from real customers.

It also has a claimed Trustpilot profile and a case studies page.

Best for: resellers who want a large body of feedback to read.

5. FatJoe

FatJoe sells white label SEO, link building, digital PR and content, and its homepage says it has delivered orders since 2012.

Its reviews page shows what it calls its latest unfiltered Shopper Approved reviews.

It has a claimed Trustpilot profile and a case studies page, and its homepage offers a money-back guarantee on its services.

Best for: agencies buying packaged outreach at scale.

6. Page One Power

Page One Power says it has been exclusively a link building service since 2010.

Its homepage shows client quotes in a "What Our Clients Say" section, and at least one is labelled as a Clutch review.

It publishes an SEO case studies page and promises 100% manual outreach to publishers it has vetted.

Best for: established brands that want a long-term link building partner.

7. Editorial.Link

Editorial.Link says it is trusted by 500+ brands, and its homepage links to its Clutch and G2 review profiles.

It also has a claimed Trustpilot profile.

Its FAQ says every placement sits on a site with DR 60 or higher, and it offers to restore or replace a link that disappears within six months.

Best for: buyers who want strict placement standards and control.

8. Authority Builders

Authority Builders says it has built direct editorial relationships with vetted publishers since 2016.

Its homepage carries client testimonials, and it publishes a case studies page.

It also has a claimed Trustpilot profile, and it says every placement goes through direct outreach and manual review.

Best for: SEOs who want to choose the metrics and let the team pick the sites.

9. Outreach Monks

Outreach Monks says it has operated since 2017 and delivers 4,000+ manual links every month.

It publishes a link building case studies page.

Its Trustpilot profile was claimed in 2025, so there's less history there than on its own case studies.

Best for: agencies that need manual links at volume.

How To Check Link Building Service Reviews In 30 Minutes

This is the exact check I'd run on any provider, mine included, before I placed an order.

Minutes 0 to 5: Find every review source

Open the provider's homepage and look for links to testimonials, case studies and review platforms.

A provider that links to an independent platform from its own homepage is showing some confidence.

Minutes 5 to 10: Read the worst reviews first

Sort any review platform by the lowest ratings and read a handful.

I'm looking at what went wrong and how the provider replied.

A calm, specific reply that fixes the problem tells me more than a hundred five-star ratings.

Minutes 10 to 15: Read the detailed positive reviews

Skip the one-line praise and look for reviews that name the work.

Good reviews mention the type of sites, the reporting, the communication and what happened to traffic.

Minutes 15 to 20: Verify one named testimonial

Pick one named reviewer and check that the person and the business exist.

Minutes 20 to 25: Check one case study against the live site

Pick one case study that names a website and look at that site today.

Ask whether the site still exists, whether it's in the niche the case study claims and whether the dates make sense.

Minutes 25 to 30: Ask for live examples

Email the provider and ask for a few live placements from a recent campaign in your niche.

A good provider will send them, and a provider that refuses is giving you your answer.

Red Flags Hidden Inside Link Building Service Reviews

These are the patterns that make me stop trusting a set of reviews.

  • A review that praises "great links" without naming a single site or result is too vague to count.
  • A cluster of very similar five-star reviews posted in the same short window deserves a closer look.
  • Reviews that exist only on the provider's own site, with nothing independent anywhere, give you nothing to check.
  • A provider whose reviews celebrate a guaranteed ranking is advertising something nobody controls.
  • Case studies with no dates, no names and no live website are stories, not evidence.

What Google Says That Your Reviews Won't

Even a provider with brilliant reviews can build links that put your site at risk.

Google's spam policies define link spam as creating links to or from a site primarily to manipulate search rankings.

The examples include buying or selling links for ranking purposes and using automated programs or services to create links.

Google also says paid links are fine for advertising and sponsorship as long as they carry rel="nofollow" or rel="sponsored".

That's why I always ask a provider how each link is earned and whether any placement is paid.

How I Use An AI Agent To Read Reviews Faster

I don't read hundreds of reviews by hand any more.

An agent can open each review source, pull the text and sort it into themes such as communication, link quality, reporting and refunds.

It can also flag reviews that look copied, reviews with no detail and replies from the provider that solved a problem.

The agent never decides for me, and it never writes reviews, because fake reviews are the exact problem we're trying to avoid.

What it does is turn an hour of reading into a one-page summary that I can check in ten minutes.

If you want the wiring behind that kind of agent, my guide to setting up a Hermes MCP server shows how I connect agents to tools.

Questions To Ask After You've Read The Reviews

Reviews get you to a shortlist, and these questions get you to a decision.

  • Can you send me live placements from a recent campaign in my niche?
  • How is each link earned, and are any placements paid?
  • Will I approve every site before outreach starts?
  • How will I see every live URL, and how often?

If you want the full hiring process after this, my guide to the best backlink building service walks through the brief and the first order.

If you're weighing up metrics such as DR and traffic instead of reviews, read my companion post on choosing a high PR link building service.

Real Results Shown On The Goldie Agency Site

I only quote case studies that are published on goldie.agency, so you can check them yourself.

  • The site says Munten Letselschade improved its Top 3 keyword positions from 19 to 108 between June and December 2025 with link building.
  • The site says The Wheel Generator grew traffic by 767% between May and August 2025 with only 6 backlinks.
  • The site says Adam Gorham Films grew traffic from 21 to 392 between October 2024 and September 2025 with consistent link building.

These are past results for specific sites, and they don't promise what will happen on yours.

My Verdict

The best link building service reviews are the ones you can check against something real, such as a live website, a named client or a video.

I put my own agency first, and I've told you exactly where the bias sits and where our reviews live.

If you want a third-party option, Rhino Rank and Loganix make their review evidence the easiest to find.

FAQ: Link Building Service Reviews

Where can I find honest link building service reviews?

Start with the provider's own testimonials and case studies.

Then look for reviews on platforms the provider doesn't control, such as Trustpilot, Shopper Approved, REVIEWS.io, Clutch or G2.

Which link building service has the best reviews?

I rank my own agency, Goldie Agency with Goldstar Links, first, and I've told you that's my bias.

After that, I list Rhino Rank, Loganix, The HOTH, FatJoe, Page One Power, Editorial.Link, Authority Builders and Outreach Monks by how easy their review evidence is to check.

How can I tell if link building reviews are fake?

Look for reviews with no name, no business and no detail about the work.

Be wary of a burst of identical praise in a short window.

Does Goldie Agency have reviews I can check?

Yes, there are video testimonials on the testimonials page, named written testimonials on Goldstar Links and dated case studies on the agency site.

I couldn't find a Trustpilot profile for goldie.agency when I checked on 27 October 2026.

Why does this post not quote star ratings?

Star ratings and review counts change every week.

I'd rather point you to each live source than freeze a number that will soon be wrong.
