Step 1: Write your ten buyer prompts
Write down ten questions a real buyer would ask Claude before choosing a company like yours.
A good example is "who are the best accountants for small ecommerce brands in the UK?".
Step 2: Record your baseline yourself
Open Claude, ask all ten prompts in fresh chats, and save every answer with the date.
Note whether your brand appears, which competitors appear and which sources are cited if web search is on.
Answers vary between chats, so run each prompt more than once before you draw a conclusion.
Step 3: Shortlist three agencies

Step 4: Ask each one to show its measurement

You want to see dated answers and citation counts, and not only traffic charts.
