The Hark Pro app is a free personal AI agent from Hark Labs that you can download on iPhone, iPad and Android, or open in any browser at hark.com.
It's the same agent on every platform, so your chat, your memory and your Panels follow you from your laptop to your phone.
I tested Hark Pro on the free plan on camera, and the question I've had most since then is simply where the app is and how to set it up on a phone.
So this post gives you the confirmed store links, the device requirements, and the exact phone setup I'd follow as an operator.
I checked every store detail below on 11 October 2026, and I'll tell you plainly where something isn't published.
What Is The Hark Pro App?
Hark Pro is the app Hark Labs calls "the operating system for your life".
It looks like a simple chat app, but it remembers what you tell it and it can use its own cloud computer to do jobs for you.
That cloud computer is called Handoff, and it signs in to websites, fills in forms and completes bookings and orders on your behalf.
Hark's own guide explains the naming clearly.
Hark is the company and the intelligence it's building, and Hark Pro is the software you use on the web and in the iOS and Android apps.
Hark Labs, Inc. was founded by Brett Adcock, who also founded Figure and Archer Aviation.
Hark Pro launched publicly on 6 October 2026, and I recorded my test the next day.
When I first opened it, it honestly felt like the Apple of AI agents, because the design is that clean.
Where To Download The Hark Pro App
There are three official ways in, and I confirmed that each link below loads.
| Platform | Official listing | Publisher | What I confirmed on 11 October 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| iPhone, iPad and Apple Vision | Hark Pro on the App Store | Hark Labs Inc | It is free with in-app purchases, it is 102.7 MB, and it showed a 4.9 rating from 149 ratings on the US store. |
| Android | Hark Pro on Google Play | Hark Labs Inc. | It is free with in-app purchases, and it showed a 4.8 rating from 193 reviews and 500+ downloads. |
| Web | hark.com | Hark Labs, Inc. | You sign in with Google, Apple or an email address, and there is nothing to install. |
Hark also has a download page at hark.com/download, which shows both store buttons and a QR code you can scan with your phone.
Those ratings are from a brand-new app, so expect the numbers to move quickly.
One warning is worth your attention before you search the stores by name.
There's an unrelated podcast app called Hark Audio from a different company, so check that the publisher says Hark Labs before you install anything.
Which Devices Run The Hark Pro App?
Here's what each listing says about devices.
| Device | Requirement |
|---|---|
| iPhone | The App Store listing says it requires iOS 17.6 or later. |
| iPad | The App Store listing says it requires iPadOS 17.6 or later. |
| Apple Vision | The App Store listing says it requires visionOS 1.3 or later. |
| Android phone or tablet | Google Play decides compatibility for your device, and I couldn't confirm a minimum Android version from the listing. |
| Mac, Windows, Linux or Chromebook | You use the web app in your browser at hark.com. |
The App Store listing shows English plus 28 more languages for the iOS app.
Hark doesn't publish a list of supported countries.
What I can tell you is that the App Store listing appeared in every storefront I checked, including the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, India, Japan, Brazil, Thailand, Singapore and the UAE.
It didn't appear in the China storefront.
The Google Play listing loaded for both the US and the UK.
If the app doesn't show in your store, the web app at hark.com is the first thing I'd try.

How To Set Up The Hark Pro App On Your Phone
The setup takes a few minutes, but the order matters.
Step 1: Install it from the right listing
Open the App Store or Google Play link above, or scan the QR code at hark.com/download.
Confirm the publisher is Hark Labs, then install it.
Step 2: Sign in the same way everywhere
You can continue with Google, continue with Apple, or enter an email address.
Use the same sign-in on your phone and on the web, so you land in the same account with the same memory.
Hark's terms say you must be at least 18, or the legal age where you live if that's higher.
Step 3: Decide on notifications deliberately
Your phone will ask whether Hark can send notifications.
I'd say yes, because an agent that books and orders things needs a way to ask you for approval when you're away from the screen.
Hark's guide does admit that tracking updates can lag by a few minutes, so a delivery app's own push may reach you slightly before Hark's.
Step 4: Connect your email first
Hark recommends connecting your email before anything else, and I agree with that order.
I connected my Gmail, and Hark's guide says email is the fastest way for it to get a snapshot of your life and to send messages and schedule things for you.
Hark supports direct connections it calls Services, and its guide lists Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
Step 5: Check the details it shows you
After my email was connected, Hark showed me the details it had worked out, such as my location.
Check them properly, because every suggestion it makes later is built on them.
Step 6: Give it one real job
Hark greeted me with, "Hi Julian. What's one thing on your plate this week I could take off?"
It suggested a trip, a dinner reservation or an appointment.
I typed, "Book an Italian restaurant for Wednesday next week."
It asked how many people and what time, and it understood my reply of "6pm, two people" even though I typed it with a typo.
Then it started booking one of my favourite restaurants on its own computer screen, and I told it to stop before it finished because I was only testing.
Step 7: Build your first Panel
Panels are mini apps that live on your Home screen inside the app.
You say "create a new panel" and type what you want.
When I asked for one to track my productivity, Hark asked whether I meant meeting hours versus focus time, or my to-do tasks, and it offered to connect ClickUp or Asana.
The example Panels I saw tracked calendar events, Shopify packages arriving this week and new Apple Podcasts episodes.
Fitness, workout and calorie-tracking Panels are obvious ones to try on a phone.
Step 8: Run "Prep my day"
"Prep my day" checks your calendar and inbox and builds the day's itinerary.
The example I saw said, "Your inbox is clean. Do you want me to pull in the sales numbers before your team sales meeting at 4 p.m.?"
That's the feature I'd open on my phone every morning.
Step 9: Add your wallet last
You can add your wallet so Hark can pay for things.
Cards and logins go into an encrypted vault called Secured by Hark, and Hark says it can't view that information.
I'd still wait until you've watched Hark finish a few jobs correctly.

How To Use The Hark Pro App Day To Day
Hark's guide says the app has three main views, which are Home, Chat and Projects.
| View or feature | What it does | How I'd use it on a phone |
|---|---|---|
| Chat | It is one persistent thread where you ask for anything and where Handoffs happen. | Type or dictate the job the moment you think of it. |
| Home | It holds your Panels and your Action Buttons, and you can even pay bills from it. | Glance at it like a dashboard. |
| Action Buttons | They are one-tap cards such as "Pay" a bill or "Cancel" a subscription. | Read the card, then tap. |
| Projects | They are dedicated threads that keep files together for long-horizon work. | Give a trip or a big event its own thread. |
| Proactive inbox | It reads your emails and proposes action items. | Answer yes or no while you're waiting in a queue. |
| Side prompts and "show" | They give quick options like "quiet this" and "close this notification", and "show" pulls things into the chat. | Use them to clear noise fast. |
| Attachments and voice | You can attach files and speak your request. | Dictate, because typing on a phone is slow. |
| Scheduled tasks | It is one section that manages every recurring task you set up in chat. | Review it once a week. |
| Specialties | They are multi-step workflows Hark memorises for jobs you repeat. | Teach it the errands you do every week. |
| Memory | It learns from your conversations and forgets a memory when you ask. | Tell it your preferences once. |
Voice is input only in my test, so Hark listens to you but it doesn't talk back.
Your phone will ask for microphone access the first time you dictate, which is how iOS and Android handle any voice feature.
Trip planning is where it all comes together, because Hark can find camping spots, write a packing list, tell you when to leave and book the flights.
In my test, the integrations on offer were Gmail, Slack, GitHub, LinkedIn, Notion, Amazon and PayPal.
Connected apps also work directly inside Hark's own computer, which was easier than Grok Bot, where I often had to log in again through its computer to give it screen access.
I called it a very simple, easy-to-use version of something like OpenClaw straight out of the box.

Hark Pro App On Phone Versus Web
Hark says its full capabilities are shared across Android, iOS and web.
So you aren't choosing between a full version and a lite version.
| Question | Phone app | Web app |
|---|---|---|
| Does it have every feature? | Yes, according to Hark. | Yes, according to Hark. |
| How do you get it? | You install it from the App Store or Google Play. | You open hark.com in a browser. |
| How does it reach you? | It can send push notifications. | It lives in a browser tab. |
| Where does it shine? | It is best for quick approvals, voice requests and Action Buttons. | It is best for watching Handoff work and for long Projects. |
| What does Hark recommend? | Hark's download page calls the app "the premiere experience on mobile". | It is the only option on a Mac or Windows computer. |
I looked for a home-screen widget and an Apple Watch or Wear OS app in both store listings, and neither listing mentions one.
Panels are the closest thing to widgets, but they live inside the app.
Hark's terms also describe text messaging.
If you add your mobile number to your account, you agree to receive automated texts from Hark, such as replies, task updates and account notices.
You can stop them by removing your number in settings or by telling your agent.
Hark Pro App Plans And The Pricing Trap On iPhone
Every feature is on every plan.
| Plan | Price on hark.com | Usage |
|---|---|---|
| Hark Pro | Free | You get the base allowance. |
| Hark Pro² | $20 a month | You get 2x more usage. |
| Hark Pro³ | $100 a month | You get 10x more usage. |
Hark's pricing page says, "All features are offered in all plans. Upgrading your plan increases usage."
Here's the detail most people will miss.
The US App Store listing shows in-app purchases of $26.00 for Hark Pro² and $129.99 for Hark Pro³.
Hark's terms say that if you buy through an app store, the app store sets the local price and collects the tax.
So I'd check the price on hark.com before I subscribed inside the iPhone app.
The App Store listing also shows a Hark Pro⁴ in-app purchase at $200.00, but Hark's pricing page doesn't describe that plan, so I won't guess what it includes.
I haven't confirmed the in-app prices on Google Play, so compare them with the website yourself before you pay.
What The Hark Pro App Asks For, And What It Does With It
A personal agent needs a lot of access, so read this part before you connect anything.
| Source | What it says |
|---|---|
| App Store privacy label | Data linked to you may include user content, identifiers, usage data, diagnostics, payment info, precise and coarse location, and contact info such as your name, email, phone number and address. |
| Google Play data safety | The developer says no data is shared with third parties, data is encrypted in transit, and you can request deletion. |
| Google Play data collected | It lists emails, SMS or MMS, personal info, files and docs, calendar events, app activity and crash logs, and it marks most of them as optional. |
| Hark privacy policy | Hark doesn't use your inputs, outputs, memory, connected account data or sandbox data to train AI models, and no opt-out is needed. |
| Hark security page | Hark says it never sells your data, never advertises with it, and lets you delete it. |
Location has a visible use, because the sky behind the app is a live simulation of the sky where you are.
Hark's privacy policy says it relies on your consent for device settings such as GPS location, camera or photos.
So you can say no to a permission and still use the chat.
You can delete everything under Settings, then Profile, then Delete Account.
Hark's terms say it will ask you to confirm before it spends your money unless you tell it otherwise.
My rule is to keep those confirmations on for every booking and payment until Hark has earned your trust.
Hark Pro App Limits You Should Know
- It doesn't talk back, because voice is input only.
- There's no native Mac or Windows app, so a computer means the browser.
- I couldn't find a widget, a watch app or a published country list.
- It has a usage cap on the free plan, and paid plans only raise that cap.
- It acts on real accounts, so a vague request can become a real booking.
- Hark says its first physical product arrives in 2027, so the hardware isn't here yet.
A viewer asked me whether, after Hermes, Muse, Dots, Grok, OpenBot and now Hark, the differences are big enough to set everything up from scratch again.
My honest answer is that you shouldn't switch just because something is new.
Install it only if it does a real job on your phone better than what you use now.
If you've never had a personal agent working for you, this is the easiest one I've set up.
